Rapper Holy Ten has alleged that President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s twin sons, Sean and Collins, sent soldiers to his home and repossessed gifts previously given to him, including a house.
Holy Ten, whose real name is Mukudzei Chitsama, received various benefits from ZANU PF after openly campaigning for the party during the disputed 2023 elections.
In a live broadcast on Instagram on Sunday, the 26-year-old artist claimed that those benefits are now being withdrawn.
Holy Ten further alleged that Sean Mnangagwa, a major in the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), deployed soldiers to his residence and instructed his wife, Kimberly Richards, to vacate the property.
“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of ZANU PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing.
“I joined ZANU PF because I was trying to clean the reputation, the image of ZANU PF. What you did, boys, I can finish all of you off. I can end the ZANU PF today. I’m bigger than the ZANU PF.”
Holy Ten maintained that he continues to hold President Mnangagwa in high regard, but accused the President’s sons, Sean and Collins, of working to undermine him.
“Collins thinks he is loved by the people, let him start a ‘live’ right now, let’s see how many people join. Do not mess with me.”
He threatened to confront them directly in Harare while warning, “they shouldn’t mess with me” and declaring, “I’m not Blessed Geza.”
Geza, a war veteran and former ZANU PF member, has been in hiding since the start of the year after calling for an uprising to remove Mnangagwa from office.
The fallout between the musician and the Mnangagwa twins remains unclear. However, his remarks risk drawing him into a potentially dangerous confrontation with members of the ruling elite he once openly supported.
Holy Ten’s tirade on Instagram Live triggered a frenzy on social media, with some mocking his sudden change of tone while others voiced concern for his safety.
Within hours, he deactivated his Instagram account @holytenmusic, before restoring it with a short message of contrition:
“Apologies to my brothers Sean and Collins.”
