HARARE  – Olivine Industries has announced Zimbabwean fast-bowling sensation, Blessing Muzarabani as its new brand ambassador, bringing together one of the country’s most recognised consumer brands and one of its most celebrated sporting figures in a partnership centred on resilience, excellence and national pride.

The partnership, which introduces Muzarabani into the Olivine family, is anchored on what the company calls “The Olivine Difference” a commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives of Zimbabweans while celebrating local talent and shared values.

For decades, Olivine has been a familiar presence in Zimbabwean households, with its products forming part of everyday family experiences.

The company said the partnership with, Muzarabani represents a continuation of its efforts to connect with consumers through stories of determination, hard work and success.

Muzarabani’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the world’s respected fast bowlers has made him an inspiration to many young Zimbabweans, with Olivine describing him as a reflection of the values the brand seeks to promote.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Harare, Olivine Industries Executive Director Mr Rudraksh Somani said the collaboration was built on more than brand visibility, but on shared principles.

“At Olivine, we believe the strongest partnerships are built on shared values. As an organisation, we want our vision of The Olivine Difference to continue with our promise of making Zimbabwe great again,” Somani said.

“Blessing is not only an exceptional cricketer but also a humble, hardworking Zimbabwean who inspires people through his actions. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Olivine family and look forward to creating memorable moments together for consumers and sports lovers across the country”, he added.

The partnership comes at a time when Zimbabwean brands are increasingly turning to local sporting icons to strengthen connections with consumers while celebrating home-grown achievement.

Muzarabani said joining Olivine was a meaningful moment because of the brand’s long-standing presence in Zimbabwean homes.

“Growing up, Olivine was a familiar name in our home, just as it is in so many homes across Zimbabwe. It is a privilege to now represent a brand that people know and trust,” he said.

“I’m excited about this journey and look forward to connecting with Zimbabweans in a new way and being part of their vision of The Olivine Difference.”

As part of the agreement, Muzarabani will feature in Olivine’s marketing campaigns, community initiatives, consumer activations and programmes aimed at supporting emerging sporting talent.

The company said the partnership will also focus on encouraging young athletes by using Muzarabani’s story as an example of perseverance and dedication.

Beyond marketing, the collaboration highlights a broader effort by Zimbabwean companies to align their brands with national identity and positive social impact. Olivine said its philosophy of “doing things the better way” extends from its products and manufacturing processes to the partnerships it builds with individuals who represent excellence.

The company said its focus on quality ingredients, improved production standards and investment in Zimbabwean talent reflects its commitment to creating value for consumers while contributing to a stronger national story.

Through the partnership with Muzarabani, Olivine hopes to reinforce a message that success can be built through determination, consistency and belief qualities that have defined the cricketer’s rise on the international stage.
