ZANU PF deputy youth commissioner, Taurai Kandishaya has defended businessman Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei labelling those criticising him as disillusioned.
Tagwirei has empowered Epworth North residents through massive borehole and scholarship schemes in support of President Emerson Mnangagwa’s mantra of leaving no one and no place behind.
Addressing thousands of people who gathered at Mabvazuva grounds in Epworth on Sunday at the official commission of boreholes and scholarships launch, Kandishaya said Dr Tagwirei has offered to uplift the lives of those in need.
“Dr Tagwirei has offered to uplift livelihoods in Epworth in fulfilling President Mnangagwa’s matra of leaving no one and no place behind. Those jealous of what Dr Tagwirei is doing will remain in exile while we build our beautiful nation to achieve an upper middle income economy by 2030”, said Kandishaya.
Dr Tagwirei have so far donated boreholes and offered scholarships to hundreds of children in the dormitory town of Epworth.
The event was attended by ZANU PF leadership and several veteran and upcoming artists, including, Allan Chimbetu, Zimdancehall artist, Kinnah and upcoming artists, Ngwere Diki and Kadiki.
