ZANU youth deputy commissioner, Taurai Kandishaya has described Blessed Runesu Geza as a failed politician whose recent calls for a demonstration are motivated by selfish interests.
He urged the former Zanu PF Central Committee member to issue a public apology to President Emerson Mnangagwa and stop being used by self-exiled individuals who would want to reverse the gains achieved by the Second Republic.
Kandishaya said President Mnangagwa is a “forgiving father and a listening man,” who is always open to dialogue even with those who have opposed him.
“President Mnangagwa will be the leader of this country on the 18th of October 2025 a day after a so-called demonstration which will never happen and President Mnangagwa shall continue to lead this nation until 2030”, said Kandishaya.
Geza who is believed to be outside the country last week called for demonstrations reminiscent to the failed March 31 demonstration which he called for but had no takers.
Kandishaya said Geza’s calls were motivated by financial gains.
“The March 31 demonstration has failed and evidence suggests it was a money scheme. The call for demonstrations was motivated by financial gain unfortunately the party is currently seized with serious matters of serving the citizens,” Kandishaya said.
