Miss Zimbabwe Universe Named as the New Face of Olivine

HARARE  – Olivine Industries has announced that reigning Miss Zimbabwe Universe, Lyshanda Moyas, has joined the company as brand ambassador to promote its range of household products.

Moyas, known for her philanthropic work and advocacy, particularly for teenage mothers and community empowerment, embodies the values Olivine holds dear that include care for community, pride in the country, and making a difference.

Olivine Industries spokesperson, Mr Sylvester Dendere the company plays a pivotal role in people’s lives and memories.

“Olivine has always been about more than just products – it’s about the role we play in people’s lives and the memories we help create,” he said.

Moyas expressed her excitement about the partnership, citing fond memories of using Olivine products while growing up. 

As ambassador, she will work on campaigns, community initiatives, and brand engagements highlighting Olivine’s commitment to quality, heritage, and its customers.

Established in 1931, Olivine Industries is a leading producer of vegetable oils, margarines, soaps, and canned foods, with trusted brands like Olivine cooking oil and Buttercup margarine.
