A self-proclaimed prophet from Seke is on the run after allegedly r@ping a grieving woman during a prayer session, using a bizarre mixture of cooking oil, milk, and salt as part of a supposed spiritual ritual.

The alleged assault, carried out under the guise of prayer and cleansing, has left the community reeling, sparking outrage and prompting a full-scale police manhunt.

The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Madzibaba Luckymore Believe Mugabe of the Johanne Masowe yeJerusalem Church, reportedly visited the 59-year-old woman at her home in Mayambara Village to console her following the death of her sister.

During the visit, the woman requested a prayer, believing she was receiving genuine spiritual support.

Madzibaba Luckymore allegedly instructed her to mix cooking oil, milk, and salt in a clay pot, claiming it was part of a cleansing process.

After praying together in the dining room, he told her to bathe and apply the mixture to her body.

Moments later, he entered her bedroom and r@p€d her once without protection.

The woman later reported the incident to police, and the case has been officially registered at St Mary’s Police Station under RRB 6657697.

Mugabe fled the scene and remains at large.

Although efforts to get a comment from the Harare provincial police spokesperson were unsuccessful, H-Metro reported that authorities have launched a manhunt for the fugitive prophet and are urging anyone with information to assist law enforcement.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents demanding swift justice and warning others to be cautious of self-proclaimed spiritual leaders.
