Two people were killed in a head-on collision at the 73-kilometre peg along Chivhu–Nyazura Road on Saturday, 23 August.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the crash involved an Isuzu lorry carrying six passengers and a Toyota Axio with three occupants.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred at the 73 kilometre peg along Chivhu- Nyazura Road on 23/08/25.
“Two people were killed while three others were injured when an Isuzu lorry with six passengers on board was involved in a head-on collision with a Toyota Axio vehicle with three passengers on board.
“The bodies of the victims were conveyed to Murambinda Mission Hospital mortuary for postmortem, while the injured were admitted at the same hospital.”
