ZANU activist, Tonderai Shumba Chidawa says tycoon cum politician, Kudakwashe Tagwirei has transformed has made huge political and economic impact in Harare Province.

The Zimbabwe Youth Action Platform Platform (ZYAP) leader say, Tagwirei truly speaks President Emerson Mnangagwa’s vision and true to the ethos of the President and he is ensuring that no community is left behind.

“We address the nation at a time when the entire country is holding its breath, watching closely the developments in Harare Province where Cyclone Tagwirei has made a profound impact.

He speaks for the President and His vision and true to the ethos of the President he is ensuring that no community is left behind”, Chidawa said.

Chidawa was speaking after the ruling party hold its interdistrict meeting at Dzivarasikwa Stadium to provide conference feedback to more than 24 000 party supporters and affiliate organisations.

Chidawa highlighted that Tagwirei’s symbolises a sweeping change that challenges old habits and confronts the poverty that has long burdened many citizens.

“This is not just an event confined to Harare; it is a pivotal moment that must resonate across the whole nation.Cyclone Tagwirei symbolises a sweeping change that challenges old habits and confronts the poverty that has long burdened many of us. Poverty is not—and must never be—part of our identity”.

“With the recent appointment of Kudakwashe Tagwirei to the Central Committee of ZANU-PF, our party is poised for a natural renewal, embodying President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision for Zimbabwe’s transformation. Tagwirei’s rise signals the arrival of dedicated implementers who are ready to bring that vision to fruition”, said Chidawa.

“To many within ZANU-PF, Tagwirei is a familiar figure. His influence stretches back to the First Republic, where he played a critical role during difficult times for the party.

When founding President Robert Mugabe struggled to maintain control, Tagwirei provided invaluable support, helping to keep ZANU-PF alive and vibrant”, added Chidawa.

Chidawa also saluted Tagwirei for for helping the party and standing with President Mnangagwa’s leadership in times of need.

“In essence, he breathed new life into a party that was facing decline. His longstanding partnership with President Mnangagwa and other senior leaders has been instrumental in preserving the party amid internal challenges, including opposition from factions led by individuals like Saviour Kasukuwere, who sought to treat the party as their personal domain.

Now, with Tagwirei’s active presence in Harare Province, evidenced by the energetic inter-district rallies, it is clear that he is a powerful voice carrying President Mnangagwa’s message and advancing the party’s vision to new heights”, he said.

Chidawa called upon all business people affiliated with ruling party ZANU-PF to take inspiration from Tagwirei to unite and support President Mnangagwa in achieving his developmental goals.

“Whether you hail from Matabeleland, Mashonaland, Manicaland, Masvingo, or Midlands, the remarkable progress in Harare Province is an example for all to emulate.Comrade Nhamo Yapera (Tagwirei), we are proud of you.

The nation eagerly awaits your continued message and leadership. We urge you to visit every corner of Zimbabwe to educate our business community on the path forward and on how we can collectively build a prosperous and inclusive future”, Chidawa said.
